As Cupped Wings Guide Service continues to grow we are considering adding 1 to 2 more guides to our Arkansas Guide Team. We have 2 potential employment opportunities for either an experienced waterfowl guide wanting to guide in Arkansas or an experienced waterfowl hunter interested in learning the ropes of guiding and become an accomplished Arkansas Waterfowl Guide. All positions are 1099 independent contractor positions. This is seasonal work beginning November 1st and ending March 15th of each season. Includes the main waterfowl season (November, December and January) plus conservation goose season (February and March). We typically wrap up our guiding season by the middle of March each year.

Whether you are looking to join our team as an Experienced Guide or an Apprentice Guide, passion is a must. You must be passionate and absolutely love all the things that go into making a waterfowl hunt fun, safe, and productive.

Employment Opportunities

Experienced Arkansas Waterfowl Guide
To join the team as an Experienced Arkansas Waterfowl Guide you must have a minimum of 3 years guiding experience and 10 years of waterfowl hunting experience. You must be a good people person and understand how to work with customers from all walks of life. You should have a good understanding of the guide industry and be willing to work long, hard hours in order to provide the best experience for our clients. You must be a good team player and be willing to help other team members around you. Should be a self motivator and not need to be told what to do but rather looks for things that need to be done. You should be an experienced waterfowl hunter and be an above average duck and goose caller. Understand the nuisances of duck & goose calling, setting up of decoys and reading birds. You must also know how to properly brush blinds and conceal your hide whether you are hunting out of a pit blind, fix frame blind, layout blind, pontoon blind, or standing in flooded timber. Base pay commensurate with experience.

Apprentice Arkansas Waterfowl Guide
To join the team as an Apprentice Arkansas Waterfowl Guide you must have a minimum of 10 years of waterfowl hunting experience. You should be an accomplished duck caller and understand how to brush blinds and conceal your hide. You must be a good team player and be willing to provide assistance to other guides in what ever capacity is needed. As an apprentice guide, you will be learning for most of your first season. Your guiding opportunities will be limited until you have proven your ability to guide on your own. You must also be a good people person and understand how to work with customers from all walks of life. You should also be willing to work long, hard hours assisting other Cupped Wings guides in order to provide the best experience for our clients. We are looking for someone who is a self motivator and willing to learn and accept direction as needed.

Both positions require reliable transportation capable to towing side-by-sides, argo's, boats, etc. All positions are subject to background checks and drug testing. So if you know you will fail either a background check or drug test, no need to apply for a position.
